HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate) is an endoscopic operation used for benign prostate enlargement. It removes obstructing prostate tissue through the urinary passage rather than through an abdominal incision.
Who may be evaluated for HoLEP?
Patients with bothersome urinary symptoms, recurrent retention, catheter dependence, bladder stones, recurrent infection, bleeding or other complications of bladder-outlet obstruction may be considered for surgery. HoLEP is one surgical option; whether it is appropriate depends on the individual patient.

Planning treatment in India
